This course is designed and taught by Gail Kuhl and Heather Wark. We've put together our heads, and experience to create a step by step course with loads of resources and opportunities for support and feedback so that you can build a great tug and retrieve behaviour with your dog.

Building a tug and retrieve reward strategy deepens your bond with your dog and opens so many training doors.

Step by step, we are with you all the way from where you are to a fun game for you and your dog.

Self-paced course

You will have at least 1 year of access to the course materials giving you ample time to find your own pace through the course, while still giving you a deadline to help keep you motivated.

Dripped Video Lessons

These step by step lessons show you how to teach the basic building blocks of the tug and retrieve skills. The content is dripped each week for 6 weeks to keep you from feeling overwhelmed, while enabling you to move forward.

Accountability Community

This course includes access to a community where you can share successes, post videos and ask questions of the instructors.

Live Zoom Sessions

The live zoom sessions are a combination of team building to help you get to know your fellow participants, real-time skills feedback, and a Q & A so you can get your questions answered. These sessions are recorded and posted in the course within 24 hrs for people who weren't able to attend the session.

Flexible Instruction

I have been teaching tug and retrieve to students and their dogs for over 2 decades. As with most things, people and dogs each bring unique strengths and challenges to the training of tug and retrieve. Together we can find the "secret sauce" needed to help your dog learn to love this fun game.
